In 1983, a dying infant chimpanzee was brought to the farm of David and Sheila Siddle in central Zambia. The Siddles' success in rescuing that chimpanzee nicknamed "Pal" and the dozens that followed over the next 25 years created a legacy that stands as one of the great conservation stories of Africa.
